Lent - Day 35

Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,  (2 Peter 3:11, ESV)

This is the real question: Who am I becoming? The answer is determined by our actions. Will I walk in step with the Holy Spirit; deny myself, talk up my cross, and daily follow Jesus?

In Christ Jesus, the old is gone and new has come. Since we are a new creation, we are called to live in holiness and godliness. I am to have the mind of Christ and to not conform to the pattern of this world. I am to renew my mind through the words of God.

I am either being shaped by the words of God or by the words of this world, which opposes Jesus. Who I am becoming are determined by the thousand little decisions I make to either follow Jesus or not. What have you decided?
