Lent - Day 32

But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.  (2 Peter 3:7, ESV)

Although God destroyed the world through the flood during Noah’s time, the final judgment will be with fire. There will be a final day of judgement for angels as well as for people. This will be a day where all must give an account for how we have lived and even for what we have said.

Those of us in Jesus have nothing to fear because our salvation belongs to Jesus. He has made us righteous and justified us by His blood. This is the good news of Jesus Christ. His death on the cross and resurrection guarantees for us eternal life in and through Him.
