Lent - Day 38

Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.  (2 Peter 3:14, ESV)

Being a Christian or a follower of Jesus is not a passive living where we simply carry on as before “under the grace of God”. It is an active daily surrender of our lives to Jesus: my will, desire, wisdom, and whatever else may be of benefit in the worldly sense.

We are called to be diligent as we walk in holiness. The grace of God allows us to fail forwards as we walk in the light as He is in the light.
